    Default match attire

After following the lads for more than 40yrs i have seen a few changes in what people wear attending games very few fans wore replica tops compared to now a lot use to wear bob hats (woolen hat )and a plain red and white scarf then i think then satin scarfs came in with differen things written on fulwell end , stokoes stars etc. usually tied around your wrist for some reason probally to stop people nicking them.
Me i still have my red white and black scarf from the mid 70s... not that many now compared to them days wear scarfs which used to be held up as the fulwell sang you never walk alone..a great sight...

I usually wear trainers, jeans, jacket and then a 'retro' Sunderland top, or sometimes a polo shirt.

I have one of them old red, white and black scarfs by the way, was me Grandads, it's got rips and all sorts in it now , and it's a lot shorter than scarves are nowadays . Wish I knew somewhere you could buy them, I'd love a one that isn't knacked.

For years I have wanted one of those stripey scarfs with thick red and white stripes and thin black ones as my dad used to have one. Have never been able to find one anywhere though.

Still take my scarf that I bought in 1992 for the cup final when I was 10!

Aye, that's the type I'd like to know if you can still buy from anywhere, cos the old one I've got off me Grandad is knackered these days.

I have no idea where to get one and my dad has lost the one he used to have which is irritating!

They look buch better than the ones with stuff written all over them.

    - Replica shirt with 'Richardson 2-1' printed on the back.
    - Black trackie bottoms.
    - SAFC bench coat if cold.
    - Samba trainers.
    - Ha'way the Lads scarf.

I've got one of those that I nicked off my dad. Covered in gravy / curry stains like.

Also a couple that are blue, red, white and grey

Also a green and yellow scarf (similar to the Man U protest one) which he reckoned was SAFC. (something to do with an old away kit maybe?) not that I've found one.
