Been reading some contradictory information regarding traveling on a near expired passport.

I have read that as long as your traveling in the EU, airlines will allow you to fly as long as on the date of return the passport isn't expired.

Some say you need a min of 3 months?

Some say 6 months?

Which if any are correct?

Have to directly ask the embassy of that relevant country as they all have there own policy.
