Plastic mould repair cost about £8 last year, iirc. Not sure how they do it, though.

Depends how big the hole is.

They find it by blowing the tyre up with the foot pump and feeling for the air blowing onto their skin out of the hole.

Aye I guessed the gist of how they might do it, do they use a bucket of watta though like on a bike tyre?

Actually a lot of places do that yes. More of a paddling pool than a bucket.

Can also recommend Peacocks, used them a fair few times over the years. If it isn't too far gone you'll be looking at a tenner patched up.

They do dunk it in a water trough aye. The repair is either a patch or like a rubber bung.

Where's the hole? If it's on the sidewall then the tyre is scrap mind.
