Double bid for Villa players

Heard last night from someone who knows John Hays that weve made a £8m double bid for Nigel Reo Coker and Curtis Davies.

Just passing on what I was told.

That would be a bit too much imho, reo coker seems to have feel so far he looked promising at wist ham.

Don't there's anything to that. No need for Reo-Coker. Would've liked him here two years ago or so, but we've made ground since and he hasn't exactly shined during this time.

Both are very talented players who seem to have lost their way at Villa. Reo Coker has a good engine on him and a bit of bite in the tackle. Davies would immediately be our best centre back imo. He is a ball playing centre back who has great composure and would be a great asset to us. He was a regular for Villa until injuries forced him out of the team. The only issue with him is that these injuries seem a bit too frequent.

I would be very happy if this were true. More established Premiership experience at bargain prices.

Both great players IMO. Davies is really a star in the making, he just needs to be given a run.
