re that thread I started about clubs bein forced to shortlist black managers

There's a similar thread on PF and I posted a question. Given Zenos paradox would every club be forced to hire a black manager?
If you had a short list of ten then under those rules it would have to include a black candidate and if you then reduced it to five the black candidate would have to survive the cut as given the rules it would still be a short list and as such required to have a black candidate in it. Given that that would be the case all the way through the process and the ultimate short list is one then every club would have no choice but to hire a black manager in order to comply with the regulations.

Basic logic if there must be a black on the short list and if the short list is reduced to one then it must include a black on the short list. If there is only one candidate then that is the one who gets the job.

how many managers are really employed via an application process and shortlisting?? most are employed by a chairman wanting x person in

Even then the individual employed must have been on a short list of choice, there are hundreds of would be managers out there and if a chairman goes for a particular one he's created a short list, if that person isn't black he's broken the rules.
