I suggest playing the other two first.

Quite enjoyed it as a shooter but had absolutely no idea whatsoever what the hell was going on plot-wise.

Considering all the hype about it, its a very average (at best) game. Possibly as it was one of the big online games for the xbox and the consolekids havent experienced proper pc online gaming?

Anyways, I played the 1st and 3rd and ive still no idea wtf was going on

Not played a Halo game before, not normally too keen on FPS games, but thought I’d give this a go. As I say I quite enjoyed it, but it’s not very long, and there are so many checkpoints it’s hardly a chore if you die.

Graphics were very nice in places mind and once I got the hang of how to defeat certain enemies it was a decent enough play. I’m guessing their main focus was the online play though.

Crap “boss” at the end mind.

The first one was good - when it was released. It's now been surpassed by pretty much every other FPS game on the market.

Still, try it on legendary. It's a bit difficult

    Is it scratched to fuck?

Just get a disc cleaning kit, cost about £5. Worth having just incase for things like this. I remember killing my Tomb Raider doing the same thing the first day it arrived.

Even if it has deep scratches they eventually come out and its playable.

Look at the Xbox disc replacement thing on there website i think Halo might still be free to be replaced

I bought Halo 3 2nd hand from that game place in the open market and the disc was snapped so i sent it off and they sent a replacement out took a few weeks mind

I've just looked, Halo 3 is there but they want a tenner. I'll probably only play it for a couple of hours on legendary so its not worth it for me.

My mate still has an original so I'll just borrow his and rip it to DL disk.

Its not, same happened to me when I tipped my 360 with a game playing in it. Just get a scratch removal kit and go to it.

I just ripped my mates, easier that way and I now have a backup iso in case it happens again.
I'll keep a lookout for another original if I'm at the boot sales.
