It was quite the opposite on the TV documentaries, the head honcho of Little Chef was an absolute knob.

Definitely this. Heston came across really well, but that twat CEO was throwing about phrases like "I was expecting more blue sky thinking from you heston". It was pretty obvious to me he didn't have a scooby what he was talking about and just throwing it in to try and make himself sound good. Pretty much the same as any twat who uses that bollocks office jargon.
