Croatia could draw Bosnia in the play offs
Would that tie be tasty or do they just hate Serbia?

Re: Croatia could draw Bosnia in the play offs
The Bosniaks (mostly ethnic Muslims) were at war with the Croats and the Serbs, but the Serbs carried out most autrocities during the war killing tens of thousands of Bosniak civilians and raping thousands of their women in order to bastardize the Bosniak population and force them to give birth to 'Serbian' babies. This being the case, I would imagine there is little love lost between them and there will be a fair amount of hate kicking around, somewhat more intense than the Tyne-Wear derby if it were Bosnia v Serbia. Bosnia v Croatia would be interesting, but it's basically a distant second to anyone in that region versus Serbia. The Serbs are the modern day version of the Nazis in many people's eyes.

i have held in my hands the dossier that the serbs presented to the hague ( a copy probably) and it outlined the beheadings and burning of churches and killing of civilians by the mujahadeen, they were told just before shrebrenicha after many previous attacks that if you do it again we will kill ten of yours to every one of ours you kill, the mujahadeen then burned a church and murderd 800 civilians, that is why 8000 were killed at shreb' now i'm not condoning this, but the reality was a lot more complex than either you make our of or the west was happy to punt to its public

Fair point as I am sure there were atrocities carried out by all sides and there were known to be Iranians amongst others fighting on behalf of the Bosniaks. Don't think anyone came out of the war with much credit.
Only been to Slovenia in that part of the world and loved the place. Probably going to go to Croatia next year and fancy visiting the rest of the region in the future. The Serbs and Bosnians I have met seem pretty friendly on the whole to foreigners from further afield, but perhaps not so keen on each other within the region.

Interesting stuff. What do the Croats think of Montenegro, they could draw them too.
