Default Bruce dedicates win to...err...Fat Sam?

    Apparently. From the Beeb.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, a close friend of Sam Allardyce who was sacked by Blackburn last month, on his side's 3-0 win over Rovers: "I would like to dedicate the win ot Sam. I know he won't like us beating his former team, but after what has happened to him over the past couple of weeks I am delighted and I will have a few glasses of wine for him tonight."

i agree with what he said in this Post match interview when he said what Blackburn did to Allardyce was shocking and to beat his ex team was great

Nice to see the diet has started Brucie- or have you just packed in the beer and the pork pies?

I'm not a fan of Allardyce or his sides, but the gesture is the right one. A bunch of fools swanning onto the scene and taking a decision that is risible and then claiming they're aiming for top 5, while looking to sign Kris Boyd and Geovanni.

He's better off out of it TBH.
