when the mags were relegated last season it was quite a common gag on here to say enjoy going to clubs like Blackpool etc etc.

Now Blackpool are up the same people are tossing themselves silly at the thought of a weekend in Blackpool.

not really, everyone said the bright side is they can go to blackpool. even funnier when they got it on a tuesday night. fingers crossed we get a weekend

It is bad enough when the illuminations are switched on, but go there in Winter when the lights are over and the place is even more depressing.

My sister was born in Weeton not far from Blackpool, I've got loads of childhood memories of Blackpool as a loverly place. Might take the bairn there sometime this summer.

The place is being regenerated and the new sea wall and prom are complete,nowt wrong with Blackpool,and Stanley Park is a great place to take your kids.
If only we had a tenth of the things Blackpool council have had done to promote their own town and seafront.
