FA Cup Attendances

I know there have been a few threads on here commenting on the fact that there is likely to be a few empty seats tomorrow but I think some people need to note that the early rounds of the FA Cup are not generally well supported, look at the gates today:

Bolton v Swansea 11,597
QPR v Chelsea 15,728
West Brom v Norwich 17,434

All PL matches would have a much higher gate than these.

My point is we seem to be getting frustrated that the ground won't be full but if you look at other games the attendance will be significantly lower than ours.

QPR's capacity is only 18300. They'd get more for a premier league game but not too much more.

West Brom's crowd is only 5k less than they had for the league game against Norwich a couple of weeks back as well. It's a drop in crowd but not massive.

Chelsea would have the full away end, so no seats should be lost through segregation. QPR are just shit fans.

We had 14,000 of our fans versus Notts County last year.
