I noticed yesterday whilst watching the Birmingham v West Brom game that the ref was superb got every difficult decision right but I guaranteer there wont be one good word in the paper about his performance and it wont even have registered with supporters how good he was.
The next time that ref does one little mistake that may cost a goal or he gets a sending off wrong or booking the media and fans will be all over it like a rash and will dredge up every bad decision he has made whilst totally forgetting about the good performances the ref has made.
The bottom line is the refs cant win and the fans only have selective memories when it comes to looking at what a ref has done

What's your views on Clattenberg's performance yesterday.
Just as you are on every thread where a ref gets mentioned, justifying their every decision and great performances.
And just out of curiosity, are you a ref?
PS. I do know refs have a hard job and I do know that in the main they do a decent job, and I do know that decisions even themselves out A BIT.
