Default Incidents do they even themselves out ?

We got a bit lucky yesterday with the offside goal from Arse shavin but I was wondering about how these things even themselves out over a season, as we are 3/4 through have we had our even share, incidents that spring to mind are the stoke goals were offside and proven, yesterdays goal again proven with the replays but any more with us ? The Liverpool goal away was a debate and we were unlucky again there etc.........

Everyone gets their share of luck for and against, for us we will get less luck than we receive, and the top four will get more luck for than against, it's just the way it is.

The good decisions teams gets are quickly forgotten about by supporters where are the bads one are not.

I noticed yesterday whilst watching the Birmingham v West Brom game that the ref was superb got every difficult decision right but I guaranteer there wont be one good word in the paper about his performance and it wont even have registered with supporters how good he was.

The next time that ref does one little mistake that may cost a goal or he gets a sending off wrong or booking the media and fans will be all over it like a rash and will dredge up every bad decision he has made whilst totally forgetting about the good performances the ref has made.

The bottom line is the refs cant win and the fans only have selective memories when it comes to looking at what a ref has done

I have to say under Keane we seemed to get absolutely fuck all and had a terrible run of decisions. This season they have evened themselves out i reckon.

What's your views on Clattenberg's performance yesterday.
Just as you are on every thread where a ref gets mentioned, justifying their every decision and great performances.

And just out of curiosity, are you a ref?

PS. I do know refs have a hard job and I do know that in the main they do a decent job, and I do know that decisions even themselves out A BIT.

Firstly I am not a ref.

I do not justify there every decision, I know there make mistakes cos they are human being and everyone of us make mistakes. They get the see incidents once from a certain angle. Of course they are going to get things wrong but like I saying my other post in this thread the ones they get right are quickly forgotten and the ones they get wrong are played endlessly on TV and debated over on message boards.

    Whats the alternative?

Every decision to be taken to TV replays?

I never seen the Fulham match yesterday so cant comment on that but dont forget he seen the decisions once from a certain angel where as TV pundits and supporters have watched replays before giving there opinions on it

    OK.
Wasn't having a pop at you.
    Or all refs.
But I do believe there is a bias (abeit nowhere near what some people believe).

So anyway, what is your take on Arshavin not getting booked for 'kicking the ball away', so to speak.
Would a sunderland player have been booked in similar circumstances?(mentioned on another thread).

    I reckon a nailed-on CERT.

    I thought you already did

I already know that my view is different to yours and that you will defend them to the hilt, for which I applaud you but retain the right to disagree.
