    As I've posted here more than once, I'm a big fan but I just followed a couple of links from the clip above and did find this quite curious! Were there in fact TWO John Martyns, one from Glasgow and one from that London?

    When he was a kid he lived for a while with his Gran in Glasgow, but his parents lived in that London.

    Still got my vinyl copy of Solid Air

    Seeing this performance was the first time I had heard of John Martyn, it blew me away, I now have loads of his LP's
