Its really rather weird. Surely our downturn in form can't be linked in any way to the manager's decision to sell the one goalscorer in the team, his broken promises to replace him, and his decision to spend £10 - 15m on players who have never played in this league and who he doesn't trust to get goals against championship opposition?
