ripping from an ipod?

i know things like this get done to death but i've not had much joy with the search....

.....does any body know of a programme which will let me rip music from an ipod and store it on my i tunes ready to put on to my ipod?

i got a new touch last night but most of the stuff on my old i pod isn't in my music library and i haven't got the discs anymore.

does it just take the music from your ipod and move it to a folder on your computer or does it store it in itunes?

moves it to your computer but then you can just drag it all into itunes
