    Fancy popping down for a few beers on friday during the day, wheres decent i dont usually venture down those neck of the woods

    Can't go wrong with The Wolsey, Harbour View, Queen Vic then The Roker. All have seating areas outside as well if it's sunny.

    The Wolsey's a bit council compared to the others though.
    More often lumped in with the Clipper and it's ilk.

    Try the Cliff instead.

    Roker Hotel is the best on a sunny day. I would have went there but I am off to watch Durham play cricket in the sun
