city centre boozer for sunday

i know the waldorf has been a traditional pub for branch memebers to meet up before local north west matches especially in we then needed to get a train from piccadilly

but for last seasons city match, a number of us went to the marble arch on rochdale raod, a 5-10min walk from victoria station. and we're planning to do the same again this season. its away friendly, in fact i'd say about 3/4 of the people in there last season were sunderland fans, many in red n white. it brews and serves cracking beer and will also have a few guests on too

walk up shudehill, go straight across at lights onto rochdale road, the pub is 5 mins from the lights on the left hand side. i'm planning to get there for 1pm
