Settling the striker craic

People keep banging on about us have a new strikeforce next season.

If Sessegnon stays, we will not play with 2 strikers. From what we've seen, you can't say you would be happy with Sess in the midfield? His defensive nous is basically non existent.

Any striker MON brings in will play up on his own with Sess just off him. It is the only role in which Sess can be effective in the English game

I beg to differ, sess could be affective in a 41212 playing the cam role behind TWO strikers, He could also play on the right or the left. In fact he used to play on the right wing alot for PSG. And before anyone says anything i know its unlikey we will play a diamond in the midfield however i do think it could be affective.

Clubs of our stature do not require expansive football. It is important that when we do not have the ball, the wingers help our fullbacks out. So for me, that rules Sess out as winger straight away.

As for 41214, bar Chelsea, when was the last time that actually worked in England? 41212 make you far too narrow and requires extremely attacking minded fullbacks to work

Sorry, I didn't explain myself well enough. We will sign more than one Striker, but it is extremely unlikely we will play with 2 at the same time
