Anybody booked a holiday right at the last minute? Day before for instance and find it to be loads cheaper? or is that a myth?

Turn up at the airport willing to travel wherever and you will pick up a bargain.

Some of the taxi drivers there (Morpeth taxis provide airport taxis I think) get to travel all ower the world for buttons as long as they're willing to travel with a couple of hours notice.

from those auction sites that were around at the time they are not around now though.
the lanz one was from east mid though
i could have gone to majorca for a quid from cardiff if i had anyone to go with as well

By the time you add in the baggage supplement, etc. you'd be surpised how much it costs to go to these places. only joking of course

Mother in Law had 1 today from Dawson and Sanderson.

14 nights SC in Crete, good hotel as well £109 as long as you could go tomorrow from Newcastle.

You can get lucky in the travel agents but it's generally a case of going the day you're in there,i know a few people who've got canny deals but in general it seems to be bit of a myth.

I was in thomas cook this morning sorting mine out. Listening to the bloke next to me, he booked 10 nights in ibiza for £120 with a flight later that evening. Lucky sod
