Default The Stadium of Light beer (yes again)

I had the dis-pleasure of sitting in the East Stand last night, and the beer is no different to that of the premier concourse i.e. it stinks of line cleaner and tastes shite and is undrinkable. Thankfully I'd ordered a cider (due to my experience with the lager, the cider was ok'ish) but my brother ordered the lager and it tasted fucking terrible, so he asked for another which was still the same. I've had a rant at the staff in bar 9, but they'll not bother doing anything else.

We arrived approx an hour before kick off so they can't blame it on being the first pints out of the pump as it was already fairly busy.

I'm about to email the club (again) but I'd like to know if anyone else has the same issue with the beer so that I'm not just the only person complaining (which will then get ignored as per usual).

We choose to drink in the stadium and would like to continue so don't bother with the 'drink elsewhere' comments. I'd rather have the problem resolved.

PS. the East stand concourse is shite and too small, they should relocate the bars & turnstiles approx 20 metres back inline with the cladding, this will make the concourse & bars/snack facilities bigger and enable more people to purchase food/beer quickly and give people a bit more space.

I had a Foster's mate, not the best but still drinkable. However, I was drinking it thinking of you and my tastebuds were in line cleaner detection mode. I think I know what you mean but it's not quite enough to motivate me to complain.

My season card is for the east stand and we drink at Malones or Porterfileds, bars 10/11. On Saturday the lager was awful, my sons pint had been settled for a while and had a scum mark of dry froth around it he took one drink and nearly gaged...

Took it back and the kid who served him said 'give it a stir mate'!!! He was well pissed off now and they eventually gave him another which he said tasted of chemical (Cleaner?) Took that back and had a cider which was OK.

Last night just the same so we just drank cider as the lager is crap.

Also the new Chicken balti pies are awful, the pastry just crumbles so you cant eat like a pie. Wont be having any of them neither.

Good idea about extending the turnstiles and bar facilities.

Who is it best to complain too? do you have an e-mail address?

Which would probably indicate that the lines would have been flushed through quite well due to all the people before you.

Just the usual enquiries@safc.com address but I've never had a reply, I've sent it to a couple of other addresses but that's on my home email account.
