    In the true spirit of the SMB how exactly do i 'format the fucker'?

    If i do is there a way of saving itunes and google chrome bookmarks?

    Do you have your windows disc? If ya dee hoy it in and choose to reinstall. You will lose everything like so back up fust.

    its a laptop if that helps and i never got a disk?

    You might have a recovery partition built in so you wont need a disk. Check your manual and it should tell you how to perform a recovery which will put it back to factory settings. Typically you press a button as it is booting up to enter the recovery mode something like F12. What model is the laptop? How old is it?

    Should be a windows recovery partition on the hard drive of your laptop. Find it and set it away. Probably even easier than using a disc

    Thanks all. I will take a look. Bizarrely I didn't even get a manual as it has one built in. Its an HP something or other. Only two years old but is just about starting to lag now and has loads of crap on.

    If its fairly new I imagine the manual will be available to download online. Try googling the model number
