Getting traumatised by television
To cut a long story short, I woke up in a panic at 3 this morning convinced that the 'Kinderstodt' monster from buffy the vampire slayer was in my house, on his way to kill me. Despite not having seen said episode for over a decade.
This on top of the horrible nightmare I had when I was 22 about the Gentlemen, that I hadn't seen for almost a decade.
WTF is that all about? Anyone had any similar experiences?

Re: Getting traumatised by television
Two nights ago both me and the Mrs awoke with a start at around 4am to the sound of a massive thud (probably best described as a sound akin to OrossO dropping a yellow pages on a quary tiled floor).
I got up to invistagate and couldn't find any signs of the cause of said noise.
The next night, the Mrs woke me up to say that there was a man standing in the corner of the bedroom. She has a habbit of sleep talking so i just ignored her and went back to sleep.
Then, last night, i jumped out of bed trying to 'fight off' a man who was trying to attack me. The Mrs turned the light on and I was covered in sweat and felt absolutely terrified, despite not having any memory of a dream/nightmare.
I'm now convinced that we've got some sort of 'paranormal/insideous' thing going on in our new house.

Sprinkle some flour, that way if she's eating as much cheese as your story suggests you'll still find the damp fold.

Re: Getting traumatised by television
It only kills children anyway. And she killed it. You are probably safe.

I very rarely get the dream where you feel you're unable to breath and are being weighed down by an invisible presence. Hate that.

Cheers marra.
Acquiring the episode as we speak, I'm curious to watch it again now. I can remember my little cousin (8 or 9 at the time) couldn't/wouldn't sleep afterwards!
