I think there are very few Sunderland fans who can really have a bad word to say about Shearer since he's been a MOTD pundit. I've always found him to be very fair with regards to us, and the fact that he clearly loathes us personally means he pays attention to us, something far fetched for Hansen / Lawrenson.

How Heskey and Defoe are still regarded as definite choices where as he isn't, is truly beyond me. I know I am biased, but there is no justice if Bent doesn't go to South Africa.

Well Rooney keeps getting injured, as does Defoe. Heskey is gash and Crouch is a freak who was found out when we played Spurs a fortnight ago

Bent and Defoe are similar players, out-and-out goalscorers. Bent has scored more goals than Defoe and in a weaker team.
