Not keen on replacing one right-footed-left-back with another.

    It'll hopefully be:

    O'Shea Brown Bramble New Signing/Richardson

O'Shea has played the majority of his games at Manchester United and these days for Ireland at RB and always looks assured. Brown has played the majority of games for Manchester United at CB.

I wouldn't mind giving Richardson a proper run at LB, but if we could get a natural LB in then all the better.

Id rank Turner ahead of Bramble - particularly if it is a question of who plays alongside O'Shea or Brown, as in either case O'Shea or Brown's ability to pass the ball would cover Turner's weakness - and Turner is much more use in the air than Bramble.

    Agreed.

Harsh on Bardsley but right back is the only place I'd be happy enough seeing him, and it seems we're strengthening that area anyway.

Not sure how that would cover a chronic lack of pace.

Harsh on Bardsley prob but I'm sure he'll get plenty playing time this season regardless anyway.... he can cover both full back positions and we know that Brown and Richardson have a tendency to pick up knocks...
