I'm going away next week to Czech Republic.

With travel insurance, now you can get it fairly instantly online, is anything stopping me from just playing it by ear and if something does go wrong just nipping on the old iPhone and booking it there and then (as long as it's not getting my phone nicked!).

Just pay the money man, it's only a fiver. This is from someone who spent all of last Saturday night in a hospital in Benidorm with a mate who didn't have insurance.

It'll probably cost you more in data roaming

Seriously though, they will check your details and it's fraud.

Not worth it, just buy insurance if you're bothered.
