This they have an awful lot of young talent and they can afford to leave them go and get experience elsewhere and if they fulfill there potential they are n a position to buy them back .Spanish clubs often put buy back options into contracts when they sell young players as well .

Bojan isn't that good.

He's decent, but not good enough for Barca. His progress has totally stalled to the point his development has possibly gone backwards over the last 18 months

True, but keep in mind he had a massive injury IIRC.

Not good enough basically. Wonderkid at 17 but hasn't pushed on since then. Difficult to do that at Barca mind, and maybe with regular football he will develop properly.

Or maybe he'll be another Portillo and drift into obscurity (he looks better than Portillo ever did though).

Could be a real hit at Roma. Just that little thing lacking to cut it for Barca but the competition there as we know is pretty darn fierce... Roma want to play a bit like Barca if you are to believe 'reports' and Bojan is suited to that kind of play.
