    Default Google +

I've been using Google+ since beta and I have to say I like it. I keep Facebook for my friends and family and G+ for more professional/serious discussions.

I do like the way they handle photographs (which are unlimited). Facebook seems to be copying some of those features.

For anyone who's on there, add me.

I, too have been using it since Beta, at least I've been registered. I don't use it.

11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.[/B] By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. Basically you retain copyright, but Google can use your images when it wants.

Not exactly the same as retaining copyright

I would advise all photographers who ever aspire to sell an image to avoid sites like these like the plague

It's strange because I see some famous / world class photographer's posting their work on there.

Maybe if you only upload a low res image, google can use that but don't have copyright to the larger (none uploaded) version??

1/ Google are probably paying them to do so to get it moving

2/ Wouldn't that defeat the object of using it? I dunno, I've never used any of these sites. Still to me it sounds like google could do what they liked with a web sized res image
