On a serious note there's not many people work harder in their jobs than care home assistants....12 and 13 hour shifts are the norm and lets be honest about it they are wiping the arses of old people because in a lot of cases their own children are busy elsewhere making money in another part of the country.....they have abrogated their responsibilities to their own parents.
In no way can you condone the ill treatment but it's a hard, stressful job looking after old people and paying minimum wage means that generally you aren't getting Einstein for your £6/hour.
