Come and join us for a once-in-lifetime live audiovisual delight celebrating our region’s shipbuilding heritage in film and music. Archive film of shipyards and the rivers of the Tyne, Wear and Tees is brought to vibrant new life, re-visualised by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Richard Fenwick and performed live with a wonderful new musical score by Mercury Prize nominees The Unthanks.

Inspired by amazing footage of the North East between 1900 and present day held in the BFI National Archive and Northern Region Film & Television Archive and using the songbook of shipyard songs written over the past 100 years as a starting point, this promises to be an unforgettable event.
