Ah knarr you lot rip into me for watching aerial ping pong but i'll tell you what, it is a much more open league than the boring PL at the moment. We all know that the top 4 and possibly now Man City and Spurs will form the top of the league, end of, and the rest of us just fight each other for scraps. AFL is totally different. Look at the table this year: Fremantle 2nd and were totally shite last season. Geelong and Hawthorn are abysmal after being class for the last few years. Everybody is beating each other and it makes for a really exciting league.

Apart from the above they have strict salary caps and teams finishing in the bottom get first picks in players who are being drafted into the AFL. Not saying I like AFL better than our footy cos I obviously don't but it is a refreshing change to the predicabilitly of the PL if you know what I mean. The PL really needs to introduce some sort of salary and transfer cap, just for starters, cos if they don't it is going to self-implode
