Bargain lens
Just found this
http://www.digital-cameras.com/produ...productid=2643 seems a bit too good to be true, £160 off rrp. Any thoughts?

Some pretty crap reviews of the customer service there duff_man, I think I'd be inclined to shop elsewhere.

Just sold one of those the other week. It's a fantastic lens, ands it's only that cheap because it's so popular that Nikon have make millions of em.
That and the Nikon 50mm 1.8 are both complete steals.

Cracking lens for the price, I got it for a similar price and use it quite regular. Not as much as the standard 18-55mm but that's because I like taking wide angle pics.
Like any lens I've ever read up on, you get good and bad reviews, peoples expectations and levels as a user vary so don't read too much into it mate.
