    Too early to say.

Hull will finish bottom but Portsmouth and Wolves aren't certainties.

I reckon Burnley will 'do a Hull' and we'll see them freefall sometime this season. They will hope its after Christmas and not before.

Birmingham will probs be ok with the extra £ they will get to spend in January, but I reckon they'll still struggle.

Wolves will struggle, but I reckon they might just have enough fight to stay up. Portsmouth won't go down, they have started to score goals and get their confidence back and that will see them climb to lower mid table.

i think everybody bar phil brown and hull fans has them nailed on for the bottom three

wolves just concede too many goals for me, so they will be like west brom and go down, but playing canny.

the other place is the hard one.

could be any from bolton, portsmouth, blackburn, birmingham and safc

Pompey I think are certain at the moment, but Burnley and Hull could change that.

I also think Wolves are fucked. It's no secret I dont like or rate McCarthy on here, but he's not a manager capable at this level and he hasn't seemed to learned much since the last time he was up here.

McCarthy will get them to play some decent stuff, but they have poor players at the back and his game plan is all about pressing and keeping things tight, whilst defending high up the pitch to compress the area they're playing in - time and time again they'll get caught out and concede, as they're doing now and eventually the rot will set in. He's lucky though that this season there's some shite down there, so there's always a chance they'll escape.

Think Burnley or Hull will fill the other slot, depending on who Hull bring in as manager.

I also think Blackburn will struggle, though just stay up. Fat Sam has done his usual thing of relying on one target man type forward, whilst getting rid of players (or alienating them) who can score goals, however now he hasn't got a decent one. They're also unlike Fat Sam sides of the past who haven't conceded many goals and are shipping them for fun right now.

I think its all up for grabs personally. Hull could escape the bottom if they ditched Brown and brought in someone else. Pompey have shown some signs of improvement, but they look in the most trouble. Anyone else in the bottom half could be in the mire if they have a poor run. It's tighter than ever in the bottom half IMO.

change the order slightly with Hull propping up the rest but it's going to take either a mighty effort from them to get out - or a huge fuck up from another team.
