WH fan doesn't paticularly like Newcastle...

Not now a Premiership side but Newcastle's fans are the worst. Yes, they turn up in numbers and make a decent noise occasionally but they must be the most deluded fans in world football, never mind England.

On my way home 5Live had a 15minute feature on the 'disastrous' news that Mike Ashley is going to keep the club and spend 20million (the b*stard!), appointed somebody who isn't Alan Shearer or Kevin Keegan as manager and is going to raise some money by allowing a sponsor to put its name on St.James Park, even though all 4 stands have corporate naming deals.

The fan being interviewed said it was a disgrace and that the historical football uniqueness of St.James Park was being sullied, which I imagine was news to Exeter City supporters. He said that Alan Shearer should be the manager and that 'millions of black and white fans from around the world' would be upset by todays events.

They are so far up their own arses they think that just because most in Newcastle (pop.275,000) support 'The Toon' (I hate that) that so does everybody else around the world. Millions? Dont make me laugh. Er. Rant over.

Seem like a canny bunch actually.

TBF though mate, there's a lot of fans of other clubs seem to have this opinion of you lot. I would contrast the reaction of Villa fans when they sent you down, to those of Man Citys when they sent us down a few years ago at Maine Road. Says a lot really.
