Scored 7 all season last year but IMO awesome. Struggling to look the player he was last season(maybe still not 100% fit) but scored 7 in 11. when he starts playing like last season and keep scoring this, he might start living up to the hype of the Drobga, Adebayor tag! Come on Kenny 20 goal season
It is absolute rubbish to label him as lazy. He sometimes lacks anticipation and that can be perceived as lazy by people who cannot read the game.
What disappoints me about Kenwynne is that his first touch has not improved one iota since he joined us. I remember Phillips' first touch being poor in 1997 but it was markedly better by the end of his first season. Within three years, his first touch was superb.
Are he working on it I wonder? You'd think so but the lack of improvement suggests he either isn't or he simply hasn't got it in him.
Yesterday, as many times previously, the ball just wasn't sticking with him. He ended up just aimlessly flicking balls on in hope. It needs to stick with him, we have mobile midfielders who are quick to support and we would be such a threat if Kenwynne improved this side of the game.
He also doesn't win the headers that he should. Even if he doesn't win them he should be competing more and not allowing defenders free headers to clear.
It is a strange thing that he wins more headers in his own area than in the opposite one.
His goalscoring record this season is superb though. If he could just improve other elements of his game we may have found a gem.
