    used the R4's on the old DS's, you could pack hundreds of games in but they stopped selling them through ebay and the like

    bloke selling them is sometimes at seaham car boot or some other car boot (can find out) its me parents that potter round car boots on sundays

    plays ds games but not the 3ds backups (don't know when /if if it will)

    Better off with an AceKard2i.

    All of the R4 cards are fakes, as the original creators went out of business years ago.

    Is it possible to play back ups in the same way on a 3ds in the same way you could with a ds like?

    Considering getting one for my daughter but fuck paying the same price for a ds game as that of a ps3 game.

    there's better games out on my phone

    There's not like. Aside from a few Final Fantasy ports theres nowt on a phone that can compare to a 20+ hour Mario game and the likes.

    In answer to your question though, you can only play DS games on the 3DS with it. There is no way to play 3DS games without buying them.
