That said, for all everyone says that Sess is the player to play in the 'hole' behind the striker; I'd honestly rather see him out wide on the right. He's direct, can beat a man and can pass a ball. I also think his lack of composure (for want of a better word) when he gets a shooting chance will mean that the positions he gets into are wasted.

    McClean - Larsson - Cattermole - Sess

    Would be my midfield 4.

Probably get slated for that but that's my opinion.

McClean is the obvious choice for left wing, I've explained why I'd gave Sess out right and the selection of Larsson is based on the fact he can spray the ball about, get into dangerous areas and is still on the pitch for dead balls. Cattermole isn't as bad as people make out, but he isn't as good either. Sadly the other options are Vaughan (seemingly out of favour); Gardner (frustrating as hell) and Colback. If Cattermole wasn't captain, I'd probably put Colback in but you don't drop the captain for no reason.
Three or four quality signings added to our squad them Larsson in the middle would be like a new signing in itself.

    Fletcher
    McClean Sessegnon. Johnson (loan)
    Cattermole Larsson
    ???? Brown O'Shea Curella
    Mignolet

    Defoe
    Wickham
    Campbell
    Ji dong Won
    Colback
    Meyler
    Gardner
    Richardson
    Bardsley
    Westwood

I wasn't there, like. Got a text, so could be shit.

But having seen him on with my own eyes, I have no reason to disbelieve it.
    Says it all really.

His pasing is shit. He creates / created / will create nothing

His sideways passing over 5 yards is generally acceptable

What about Sess as a Modric-esque centre midfielder alongside cattermole

    Fletcher Defoe
    McClean Sessegnon Cattermole Larsson

    ?

Its an ironic thing to say but I think they both deserve better.......centre midfielfers positions is highly based on who you play with. I rate both players very highly but i have broodiong concerns about their tpartnership.....hmmmm... something to think about....not something to panic about...
