The only reason this deal got any exposure is that Tullow decided to use their charitable shell company, instead of just having "Tullow Oil" as the sponsor.

If the shirt read "tullow" no-one (other than PLATFORM who clearly have a beef with Tullow) would have batted an eye-lid.

As stated by others almost every major sponsor could be called into question for disreputable practices in one way or another. Need I mension Northern Rock.

HSBC don't sponsor any football teams that I know about, but they are a big sponsor of other sports, and look at the money laundering scandal they are caught up in. Has anyone seen people calling for them to be removed as sponsors.

We could be sponsored by Alan Shearer Haircare Ltd for all I'm bothered, as long as they pay the money.

We need a deal like this since we're not one of the sky favourites.

Interesting article, hopefully the sponsorship will enable us to be active in the transfer market.

    I don't feel 'morally compromised', that's capitalism.

I would never buy clothes, petrol or most household items if I did.

exactly what i was going to post. wish it fucking had, the tullow oil logo is mint looking at if our boylesport shirts had the tullow oil sponsor i definitly would have bought one.

the adidas shirt looks fucking shite though so.. but thats a different thread. loved the umbro shirts like, that one with the imprint over the badge, beauty, just a hideous sponsor, why can we never get both at the same time!
