I'm really sorry about subs, that's why I always try to make sure there's no more than 9 but if someone turns up 2 mins before kick off it's incredibly harsh to say 'sorry mate, you'll have to go home'. It's hard to keep track of what's what when you're on the pitch and I hadn't realised there were still another set of subs to be made.

When you have to be ultra precise like that (i.e. every 8 minutes) it makes things very difficult. So I apologise to the 3 lads who spent more time off than they should.
