She's rather Machiavellian for a three year old but not that precocious. She just implies that a better time is had with Marcus, anything that is missing is at Marcus' because he is having a party with the crafty crocodile. One time I found a shiny jacket from one of her toys, I joked asking her if it was hers, she laughed, is it mummy's, she laughed and shook her head, is it Daddy's etc. then she tells me it's Marcus'

I'm old fashioned I think, but I like my kids calling me Mum (and their dad, Dad).

My friend has her son call her and her husband by their christian names, but it just seems wrong to me - you only have one mum and dad. Call them Mum and Dad.
