he'd be perfect for us with his strength in the box which lets face it we have absolutely 0 in there on set plays & corners.judging by what marty did at villa he liked it played to feet mainly to heskey who then would hold it up & lay it off to the wingers.carroll would need to improve on this but he would definitely be a better option than that swede.id'e also have bendtner as an attacking midfielder cause some of his control in tight positions last season was world class but he's not an out & out striker or as much a threat in the box as mandy.could marty fit both of them into a system though? id'e love to see that

He had the right kind of service at Newcastle. However, he was right out of sorts at Liverpool. He comes across to me at least as needing to have the ball played to his feet to make the most of an opportunity.

I don't see how we could get the most out of him with our current squad at Sunderland.
