p.s. wtf is MFC? I meant MDF

Melamine Faced Chipboard, and it'll do your shelving job just as good as MDF. Kitchen carcasses are far more likely to be MFC than MDF.

Re: Plywood, chipboard, MFC or old cupboards required
I've had a load of big chunks of MFC lying in my front garden for weeks, it just went off to the tip at the weekend, sorry. I realise this is of no help whatsoever.
MFC is great stuff, leave it outside, and as if by magic it gets thicker and thicker! What sorcery is this?
