Scotty, for me, as a goalkeeper, the first thing you learn is that, should you make a mistake, it is always somebody else's fault somehow. You should take a leaf out of my book. I've never actually been responsible for conceding a goal in my entire footballing career.

you know what Dave, yer right! it's whitey's fault. He should know playing the ball back to me right in front of our goal is suicidal

keep rerunning it in my mind, if only i'd laid it straight back to keeper :(

Anyway, the majority of their side were playing in the premier league last season...for 'doxies' who usually do well, so I think we can take a lot of positives away from that.

Not really. We could and should have won. Bit crap that we are still trying to take positives from games, we've been playing a while now.

We didn't play badly, just a couple of mistakes. Don't think we are trying to big ourselves up, just trying not to get too down about defeats.

Anarr mate but there's not much point in saying how well we done when we lost imo. That was for when we first started, not now. Perhaps i'm just being a bit serious but saying how great the opposition players are when we should have beat them narks me a bit.

Lol get in. Love a bit of competitiveness lol he is right. We shouldn't be too hard on our mistakes but we have proven we can beat the better teams up there

Think we are all on the same page tbh. I agree we should be looking higher than being the gallant plucky losers, but we will lose some every now and then and it's important that we don't get discouraged.

naw I agree it's just that not long ago we were getting humped off the likes of trusses/liebherr and they're badly struggling in the premier. Didn't mean to nark anyone by those comments. I agree we should have won, and i've taken responsibility for that. It's just 3 games after a 7 game losing streak.

basically, all I'm saying is a few weeks ago we were beaten, by double figures, by a team which was then relegated from our league. We've then pushed a very good team all the way and should have won. That's what I mean by positives, I'm still gutted we lost and ideally we should be looking to win every game because we can do it. We should be aiming top 3.
