It'd be class if this drags on all summer and whoever they get has little time to sort the mess out.

SO basically a repeat of 2 years back!

Noone wants that job. It comes with the proviso you have to defend complete fucking idiots and racists.

and now according to Dutch media they want Van Gaal

    http://nieuws.nl.msn.com/sport/voetb...ijzing-de-boer

"Ik krijg elke maand tientallen aanbiedingen, maar ik wacht op de goede. Ik heb wel weer zin om aan de slag te gaan"

the funniest bit of this article is that Van Gaal himself claims he gets dozens (tientallen) of offers every month but is waiting for the right club

Seems the two are both deluded and thus an ideal match

I do not speak Dutch, but Van Gaal is apparently a more realistic option for the Director Of Football job, rather than the managerial position.

There has been a big push for Rafa, with this website now being set up:

Giving thousands of disgruntled day to day Liverpool fans who would personally like to pick their next Manager the e-mail address of the owner of the club. I'm sure that will work very well and influence John W Henrys decision.

Perfectly illustrates the temperance, objectivity and awareness of the implications of their actions that Liverpool fans are becoming famous for.

If I was a Liverpool fan, and I survived the suicide attempt, I'd have Rafa back in a heartbeat.
