That is exactly what I mean. It's ridiculous that any team feels entitled to any points whether it's Liverpool, Sunderland or Dover Athletic.

You see it on here at times too and it's pathetic in my opinion.

I think it's largely driven by the media.

    You're taking it too literally.

"Dropped points" is just a way of defining someone's home/away form as opposed to saying they've "won three, drew six, lost five" or whatever

And, funniest of all, the Cup runs will probably keep the King in place for next season.

Exactly, anyone not switch positions with them in a heartbeat?

So liverpool get boo's at the final whistle and King Kenny blames the team for not perfoming.

Take at look at yourself KK for putting out that team and sacrificing the points.

Dropped points discussion, can two teams drop points in the same game, last Sat I think Sunderland may have dropped points yet Bolton believe that they dropped points, and who is picking up these dropped points

    Whatever happend to liverpool?

They used to be "everyones second team" in the past. Now everyone wants to see them fail.

It's not a strange question at all. If football is all about winning things (as you say) and Sunderland don't win anything (no major trophies in almost 40 years), then according to your logic Sunderland AFC is pointless.

I think it's about a lot more than winning things and I'm happy with this outlook because I don't think Sunderland are likely to win anything significant in my life time.

You've took my answer and bent it to suite your argument. I said finishing higher up in the premier league should never be a replacement for winning trophies.
