I bought loads of it marra and you can have some for the knock down price of £100 per square yard. I've even still got the centre spot painted on it (who'd have thought they used gloss paint for that eh?).

PM me your bank details and I'll sort out the rest.

I used to own the Grass turf that was lifted from Roker 18 yard box, minus the penalty spot which was laid as my front garden . oversaw the removal with Fred Bailey , the man in charge of the Roker park stadium. Cost me a paltry £500.

the penalty spot went for ,I think, £1800. The only other person who got more grass turf than me was Bob murray for his garden in York...he took the Fulwell penalty area where Vic Halom scored that Goal..

However I saw Charlie Hurley, George Best, Bob Charlton, Suggett, Rowell , Hawley, Crossan, Mulhall, the little General, Gordon Banks, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Lev Yashin and lots more play on it..

Very sad when I sold my house and couldnt take it with me..but life goes on
