It makes it neither ok or not ok. It just is. There will always be fanatics among any body of football supporters especially when that club has become a focal point for the history of a culture and community.
People are unforgiving and a quick glance at the smb will tell you that. It's exactly the same attitude that sees folk on here defending coin throwing at Joey Barton and exactly the same attitude that will see VE style celebrations on here when Ms Thatcher finally pops her clogs. Just a matter of degrees, that's all.
C'est la vie.

Plus as they would be solely responsible for protecting Scotlands UEFA co-eff placing; any failure could see Champions League football become nothing more then a dream.
The Celtic board would never admit to this in public, but given the fact the worst kept secret in football is Celtic are lobbying the English Football League to let them join the 2nd Division, it speaks volumes how worried they are for their long term success. Of course no matter what, Celtic will survive, however they could find themselves totally cut off from European football and having to cut their cloth accordingly.
Despite what both clubs claim; both desperately need each other and the only real winners in this situation is the other ten clubs of the SPL who may now have a real chance of winning domestic trophies on a regular basis.
As I’ve already posted on this thread, over the next few months you will see more and more stories about Celtic and possibly the Rangers ‘newco’ begging the football league to let them join. If we refuse to let them in, which hopefully we will, both clubs will face a very shaky future.

Ridiculous like- for a start they are about as anti-english as you can get so they can fuck off anyway, but why the fuck should they be allowed in the 2nd division- they shouldnt be allowed in at all but if they were, they should be forced to start at the very bottom just like a team that me and me mates set up would, we're not America with franchises and the likes.

Don't normally bother getting involved in the Celtic v Rangers stuff but if they hate the British Army so much they can fuck off and move to Ireland (mind a lot of the Irish, even Irish Catholics, dont want the arseholes either)

Re: Green Brigade take toy gun to the match
Both set of 'fans' are scum. Celtic/Rangers come second to them. It's just an excuse to spread their vile abuse towards each other and carry it on for another generation. They'll use the whole Catholic/Protestant, Irish/British and Celtic/Rangers thing. It goes hand in hand. If your a Catholic your Irish and support Celtic. Got nothing to do with football and very little to do with religion. It's just looking for an excuse to hate another group of people and this crap fuels it.
