i bet he goes on to have an injury free career with another team, and then he becomes a 7m goalkeeper, with us losing 9m and recouping fuck all.

i don't think he's a 'crock', as some people on here like to point out, its not his fault some arsehole player decided to leave his trailing leg to injure gordon, is it?

he's the best keeper at the club, and people using his injuries as an excuse for not thinking he is better than the other two are just pathetic.

Hes averaged just over 17 games a season for us since joining. Hes better than the other 2 when fit but we cant keep shelling out wages if he never plays

Pay as you play deal would suit the club but doubt he'd take that

His goalkeeping career didn't start at Sunderland, that's why.

It's a huge shame about Gordon, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him again. He could have been a top, top goalkeeper for us, and is a class above Mignolet.
