    Computer games on cassette tapes.

Borrowing books of code from the library and sitting typing it if for a week, then spending another week looking for mistakes, then finally playing a really shit game.

    That's what we had

Learning how to write a simple program that disabled the break and escape keys, then printed "dixons is shit" all over the screen with a sound effect.

Executing the said program in Dixons in the Galleries, then hiding outside and giggling at the poor salesman trying to stop it and wondering why the keyboard wasn't working.
