If we get to Wembley will we have another Trafalgar Square piss up?

Bit worried we might miss out because:

a) its been so long maybe everyones forgot that we do this

b) If we play on a Saturday then most fans will travel down on the day and stop over Saturday night rather than come down for the Friday. That way Friday will be muted due to numbers and Saturday may be muted if we lose Would rather the game was on Sunday to give us a genuine memorable Saturday neet in the smoke.

fa cup has been ruined by the fact they play league matches on the same weekend and the final is no longer the last fixture of the season, theyve royally fucked with it, it used to be the very pinnacle, with the whole weekend leading up to the sunday kick off

Play-off final 98 was bedlam at trafalgar square. Must have been litteraly thousands there. I went back around 10am the next morning and there was still 100's of red and white there with loads of bemused toursits taking photo's.

I remember walking up the stairwell at Leicester Sq tube and the hairs standing up on the back of my neck as I heard the Sunderland fans above us singing

i remember being in covent garden and a hari krishma parade singing their stuff, but being outsung by dozens of us sing HARI KRISHNAS RED 'N' WHITE ARMY and being photograph by japanese tourists.

If we get there and play on the Sat then i will be down on the friday morning and come back after the game.

If its the Sunday then down Sat morning back on the Sunday.

As you said, if we head down the day before the game you are nailed on one good night out. The Charlton weekend was one of the best I have had following Sunderland thanks to the night before. Imagine if we had of won....
