Helmur for me like. 68 Germany caps, 1 European Championship winners medal, 1 UEFA Cup winners medal, Champions League runner up .....oh and 2 games for Sunderland!!!!

I can understand the younger lads opting for Downing as he's a name, but if you'd seen Beagrie then there would only be one winner. He was superb. Had you on the edge of your seat (if you had one then you posh bastard !). Tortured every full back he played against. Didn't Everton fans chant 'send him to Sunderland' if one of their players was having a mare? Think PB was the first SAFC player i ever seen do a somersault after scoring?
